This section includes paintings inspired from my cultural roots and lineage in India. The painting titled “Kodial,” named after the southern Indian port city of Mangalore in my native language Konkani, brings to life the cultural icons and century-old traditions of this multilingual hub. Also included are paintings inspired by my recent travels around India. While these paintings only scratch the surface of traditions and experiences in India, they aim to improve the awareness and importance of preserving India’s rich heritage and cultural icons.
