This artwork celebrates Tasmania’s fourteen avian wonders! This includes the endangered Orange-bellied Parrot and Swift Parrot that are breeding endemics and migrate to the mainland outside their breeding season. As colourful, wild and wacky as their resident island, one can spot many of these beauties within an hour’s drive from Hobart or along our breathtaking coastal and scenic highways across the island. And for an extra splash of fun, I’ve included 11 common fish species found in the icy waters!
